Context-aware movement analysis in ecology: a systematic review

چکیده

Research on movement has increased over the past two decades, particularly in ecology, which studies animal movement. Taking context into consideration when analysing can contribute towards understanding and prediction of behaviour. The only way for studying decision-making their responses to environmental conditions is through analysis ancillary data that represent where moves. In GIScience this called Context-Aware Movement Analysis (CAMA). As ecology becomes more data-oriented, we believe there a need both review what CAMA means methodological terms provide reliable definitions will bridge divide between content-centric data-centric analytical frameworks. We reviewed literature proposed definition context, develop taxonomy contextual variables discuss research gaps open challenges science broadly. found main coming years should focus on: 1) integration space time, 2) tools account temporal dynamics data, 3) ways contextualized 4) approaches extract meaningful information from data.
